Follow these steps to resolve connection issues between Sora Wallet and Sui dApps.
The wallet must be installed as a Chrome extension and unlocked before connecting to any dApp.
Sometimes dApps don't detect the wallet if it was installed or unlocked after the page loaded.
Sora Wallet only works with Sui blockchain dApps. It will not connect to Ethereum, Solana, or other networks.
If you were previously connected, the connection state might be stale.
Multiple wallet extensions can conflict with each other.
Cached data can sometimes cause connection issues.
dApp shows "No wallet detected"
Make sure Sora Wallet is unlocked before visiting the dApp. Some dApps only check for wallets on initial page load.
Connection popup never appears
Check if popups are being blocked by your browser. Look for a popup blocker icon in the address bar.
Connected but transactions fail
This is usually a gas issue. Make sure you have enough SUI in your wallet to pay for transaction fees.
dApp shows wrong network
Check that both the dApp and Sora Wallet are set to the same network (Mainnet, Testnet, or Devnet).
Sora Wallet uses the Sui Wallet Standard for dApp connections. This is the official standard for Sui ecosystem wallets.
If a dApp doesn't detect Sora Wallet, it might be using an outdated connection method. In this case, please contact the dApp developers and ask them to support the Sui Wallet Standard.
