How to Hide and Unhide NFTs

Keep your NFT collection organized by hiding items you don't want to see.

Why Hide NFTs?

There are several reasons you might want to hide NFTs in your wallet:

  • Spam NFTs: Airdropped NFTs you didn't request and don't want to see.
  • Organization: Keep your collection clean by hiding items you rarely interact with.
  • Privacy: Hide certain NFTs when showing your wallet to others.

How to Hide an NFT

    Open Sora Wallet

    Click the extension icon and unlock your wallet.

    Go to NFTs Tab

    Navigate to the NFTs section to view your collection.

    Select the NFT

    Tap on the NFT you want to hide to open its details.

    Tap the Menu Icon

    Look for the three-dot menu (⋮) or options button in the top right corner.

    Select "Hide NFT"

    The NFT will be moved to your hidden collection and won't appear in your main NFT view.

How to Unhide an NFT

    Go to NFTs Tab

    Open your wallet and navigate to the NFTs section.

    Access Hidden NFTs

    Look for the "Hidden" tab or section at the top of your NFT collection. Tap it to view all hidden items.

    Select the NFT

    Tap on the hidden NFT you want to restore.

    Select "Unhide NFT"

    Open the menu and choose "Unhide NFT". The NFT will return to your main collection.

Important Notes

  • Hiding is local: Hidden NFTs are still in your wallet and visible on-chain. Hiding only affects the display within Sora Wallet.
  • Not a security feature: Hidden NFTs can still be transferred or sold. Hiding is purely for organization.
  • Spam warning: Be cautious with spam NFTs. Some may contain phishing links. Never interact with suspicious NFTs or click links they contain.

Common Questions

Can I hide multiple NFTs at once?
Currently, you need to hide NFTs one at a time. We're working on adding bulk hide options in a future update.
Will hidden NFTs sync across devices?
Hidden preferences are stored locally on each device. If you use Sora Wallet on multiple devices, you'll need to hide NFTs separately on each one.
Can I delete spam NFTs instead of hiding them?
NFTs on the blockchain cannot be truly "deleted" - they exist permanently on-chain. However, you can transfer unwanted NFTs to a burn address. Be cautious with spam NFTs as interacting with them could trigger malicious contracts.
